152. See a Planetarium Show at the California Academy of Sciences

It’s a rare night in SF, well, with all the light pollution and clouds and such that one is able to gaze into a star-filled sky.

What’s not so rare is the opportunity to take advantage of our wonderful California Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park.

It’s there where you can take a Journey Into the Stars 6 days a week.

Planetarium Shows

Mon. – Fri. : Every hour on the half-hour, 10:30 am – 4:30 pm.

Sat. : Every 45 minutes, 10:30 am – 4:30 pm.

Sun. : Every 45 minutes, 10:30 am – 4:30 pm, with the 10:30 am show exclusively for members.

Travel through time and space to experience the dramatic lives and deaths of stars. The Academy’s space show, Journey to the Stars, is projected onto a 75-foot diameter screen [...]

Reservations: None. Tickets are handed out on a first-come first-served basis. Visit the kiosk at the planetarium entrance to select your show time.
