We love stairways and San Francisco has plenty of them. But did you know that you can take a stairway walk as a guided tour?

For more information about this event, please visit the Friends of the Urban Forest page found here:

We invite you on a free walking Tree Tour of the Golden Gate Heights neighborhood, led by certified arborist Ellyn Shea. The two-hour loop will include 16th Avenue’s beautiful tiled stairway and other stairways featured in Adah Bakalinsky’s book, Stairway Walks in San Francisco. Come prepared to traverse many steps! Meet rain or shine at 16th Avenue and Moraga Street.
