It is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction from participants who are the main actors of the event.  It is community driven and everyone is encouraged to participate by presenting (food, art, demo), judging, or volunteering.  BaconCamp is not a spectator sport.

When I was in San Francisco in February (almost 3 weeks) – I took to long walks through the cities neighborhoods, taking pictures and experiencing the food & culture of the different areas. That was my favorite thing to do in SF. It’s a city w/ tremendous variety & culture. It’s vibrant and alive and there is always something new to discover! And some GREAT food!!!
